On Saturday, November 12, 2005. Beloved wife of Kermitt L. Allen; devoted mother of Dr. Kermitt M. Allen; sister of Ruth Finley. She is also survived by an aunt, Mary Allen; three sisters-in-law, Constance (James) Childress, Shirley Allen and Betty (Joe) Johnson; two brothers-in-law, Alphonso Patton and Eric (Irene) Allen and a host of other relatives and friends. The late Mrs. Allen will lie in state at Capitol View Baptist Church, 5201 Ames St. N.E. on Saturday, November 19, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. John Fowler, officiating. Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Services by STEWART.
