On Tuesday, March 14, 2017, of Kensington, MD. Beloved daughter of the late Elizabeth H. and John J. Brennan; sister of John, Jr. (the late Mary Frances), and Joseph P. Brennan; aunt of Cara Brennan, Michael Shawn Headley and the late Tara Brennan. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday, March 19, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church, 10103 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. So sorry to hear this.....I have known the Brennan's for over 50 years!. We are Neighbors and some of the last of the original neighbors she lived in her parents house and I live in my parents house had talked to Mary Ann recently and was not aware of any problem. RIP....

I just heard of Mary Ann's passing from Nancy (Ford) Fang. I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Mary Ann was a wonderful childhood friend and I received a lovely card from her shortly after I sent her a letter of sympathy after her mother died. I still have the letter, and now it is even more precious.

My condolences to the Brennan family on the death of Mary Ann. I have many fond memories of our times together during our college and grad school years. Our trips to the Apollo 17 launch and Japan are among my fondest. There was always a smile and a joke from Mary Ann when things went awry; a welcome antidote for me. I am sorry I could not be there for the funeral, I was out of town. My prayers go out for Joe and John, who have lost a wonderful sister and friend. I know the Lord is holding her in his arms and she is at peace with her parents.

My sincere & heartfelt condolences to you all at the passing of Mary Ann. I have many AHN memories of Mary Ann driving her home from High School. I remember lunches in the student union at U of Maryland. She was a good woman and may she find peace in God's arms. Prayers!
