Back in the 90's, I worked with Mary for six years when I was the GEMPAK support person at Unidata and when I was the SOO coordinator at NWS OM. To me, she was a wonderful role model of a strong powerful woman. She challenged me every day, and I was a better scientist and professional for it. Rest in peace Mary.
