Entered peacefully into eternal rest, Monday, September 11, 2017. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Angie Belfield Reese and daughter, Anjali Reese. The celebration of his life will take place at McKendree United Methodist Church, 2421 Lawrence St. N.E., Washington, DC, Monday, September 18, 2017. Viewing at 10 a.m. Service, 11 a.m.

Reese was one of the kindest, sweetest people I know. He never hesitated to help our family when we needed him. He traveled to Virginia Beach and officiated the service of my grandparents, as they both loved him dearly. He was a member of our extended family and I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. He was definitely a person who would assist anyone at a moment's notice, without asking for anything in return. May God bless you and your family during this time of sorrow. He will provide you with the strength and comfort you need at this difficult time.
