MAUREEN KELLY Obituary
MAUREEN TERESA KELLY (Age 79)
Of Springfield, VA on November 5, 2010 at the Avalon House in Falls Church. She is survived by three sons, Michael Kelly, Kevin Kelly and Patrick Kelly; brother, James Walsh and two grandchildren, Colin Kelly and Lucas Kelly. A visitation will be held Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Demaine Chapel. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 12 p.m. at St. Mary of Sorrows Catholic Church 5222 Sideburn Rd. Fairfax, VA. Interment will follow at St. Mary Historical Cemetery, Fairfax, VA. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to The Alzheimer's Association. I worked with Maureen for many years at St. Mary's . She always loved her sons and was "over the moon" when the grandchildren arrived. As you know , she loved to talk on the phone and was up to date on what was happening eveywhere. She was so devoted to religious education and wanted to make the experience meaningful for the children. I am so sorry - I found out about her death the Sunday after the funeral. She was a special womans who will always share a warm place in my heart. Please know I am thinking of her and I hope her children and grandchildren know how much they were loved.

Kevin & Gina - Mighty Mo - enough said. God love her!!! She's in such a perfect place now. The love and care you gave to MM over these very trying and difficult years will never go unnoticed. You two were MM's angels.
