MAURICE JOSEPH QUEEN
Entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 28, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Antoinette Queen; daughter, Taneisha Q Washington (Shawn); son, Eric Queen; grandson, Tyshawn Washington and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Queen will lie in state at Southern Baptist Church, 134 L St., NW on Friday, December 10 from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Officating minister, Bishop Charles H. Doom, Jr. Interment at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. www.stewartfuneralhome.com

To the Family of the Late Maurice Queen, You have my Deepest and Heartfelt Sympathy in the loss of your loved one. Matthew 5:4 "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Remembering Maurice, James, and Beverly Queen growing up as our Southeast neighborhood, childhood friends. I was so saddened to hear of his passing weeks after his homegoing service. I hope that Maurice's life, legacy, and value of hard work be a support and encouragement to all those that loved him.
May he rest in peace until that Great getting-up morning, Hallelujah!
