MELVIN HACKER (Age 78)  
Of Elkridge, MD, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017. Loving father, husband, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. Melvin Hacker was born June 6, 1939 in Bronx, NY to Joseph and Rose Hacker. He was proceeded in death by his sister, Selma Saunders, and his brother, Murray Hacker. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Catherine Ann Hacker; his children, Emmett David Hacker, Christopher Scott Monroe, Deborah Ann Smith, and Eunice Rebekah Laster; daughter-in-law, Donna Hacker, sons-in-law, John Smith and John Laster; nine grandchildren, Joshua Hacker, Spencer Hacker and his fiancé Haley Niblett, Jonathan Hacker, Emma Hacker, Zoey Hacker, Brian Linder, Jena Lowe and husband Robert Lowe, Kaila Laster and Keygen Laster; great grandchild, Luna Marie Lowe; nieces Barbara Adams, Janet Maloney, Elisa Martell and their families. Melvin Hacker retired from the U.S. Air Force Military Service June 6, 1999 as a Master Sergeant. He was a Federal Employee for Department of Defense working at both Andrews Air Force Base 459th, and last stationed at Bolling Air Force Base. He also retired from the Verizon Center (formerly Capital Center) of Largo, MD after 30 years.Melvin Hacker will be laid to rest in a private family ceremony, burial at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD.In lieu of flowers the Family respectfully requests donations be sent to The Michael J.
