MICHAEL JOHN CALLAHAN (Age 58)
Passed away on July 8, 2014 in Manassas, VA.He was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Robert John Callahan, and Lillian Gloria Cadieux Callahan. Michael graduated Cum Laude from Elmira College, Elmira, NY with a Bachelors in Psychology. He served in the U.S. Air Force for over 6 years and was employed for the past 15 years with General Dynamics as a Scientist. Survivors include his loving mother, Lillian "Lilly" G. Callahan of Manassas, VA; two aunts: Shirley Rathwell of Saskatoon, Saskachewan, Canada, and Michele Zito of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Also surviving are numerous cousins and extended family.A prayer service will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 4 p.m. at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA with Rev. John Melmer officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery, with military honors. Memorial Contributions may be made to The ALS Association Development Department, 1275 K Street, NW, Suite 250, Washington, DC 20005, in loving memory of Michael John Callahan.
