Dr. Michael C. Goodman
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Michael C. Goodman, M.D., on January 23, 2022. Born in Newark, NJ, on May 18, 1951, Michael completed his undergraduate degree at Penn State University before attending medical school at Georgetown University, where he continued with his residency in obstetrics and gynecology. He went on to practice for over 40 years in Washington, DC, Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties, MD. Michael loved fast cars, classic rock music, football and his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Marlene Gordon Goodman, his favorite daughter Allison (Mike) Fepelstein and his beloved grandchildren, Ryan Luke and Drew Sloane. Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, 2 p.m. at King David Memorial Garden, Falls Church, VA. The family will not be hosting a shiva due to Covid virus concerns. Memorial contributions may be made to Shaare Tefila Congregation, www.shaaretefila.org, or to the charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, 202-541-1001.

Dr. Goodman was my physician, and although I can't say that I knew him on a personal level, his warm, kind demeanor permeated every interaction I had with him. He brought comfort to me in a very trying time in my life, and I will be forever grateful for that. You will be missed, rest in peace.

I just found out about Dr. Goodman´s passing and wanted to send my condolences. He was my physician from my teenage years through my 40s. He helped me through a very difficult pregnancy and for that I will be forever grateful. I pray the memories of him bring you comfort during your times of sorrow.

I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Goodman´s passing. I was an early patient of his, and because of his skill became the mother of beautiful twin daughters, now in their 30s. I am so blessed to have found him through Dr. Marlow. My condolences to his family. I will never forget him.

I am so sorry to hear about Michael´s passing. I met Michael when we were just kids in Miami. He lived in Northern Jersey and I in Southern Jersey. A long time ago. I remember his first car, I think it was a yellow GTO. I´m so glad he went on to be the doctor he always wanted to be, and created and found such a nice loving family.
