Born in Arlington, VA, on February 18, 1963, he died suddenly in Atlanta, GA, on August 10, 2003, leaving hehind his wife, Catherine Cullom Marcey and beloved dog, Beauregard. Michael was a loving husband, a devoted family member, a leader in his community and an avid sports fan. He was president of the Braves 400 Club and continued to serve on the board of directors. He was also a leader in the business community, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer of D.J. Miller & Associates. Even more than his significant professional accomplishments, Michael is remembered for his cheerful personality, sharp sense of humor and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. Those who had the privilege to know him also had the opportunity to experience his quick wit and his sincere caring. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Richard Marcey Sr. and is survived by his wife, Catherine; his mother, Anne Souder; this two sisters, Sue White and Karen Marcey; his two brothers, Richard Marcey Jr. and Robert Marcey, numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held in Atlanta GA. Interment Saturday, August 16, in Wilmington, DE. I went to school with Mike. He never get all his hardship with the multiple pains he endured let him waiver in his outlook. He was a big Atlanta fan when I knew him over at Southern Towers. Glad he found some happiness along the way!
