Michael Price Obituary
MICHAEL ANTHONEY PRICE, SR.
Of Clinton, MD went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 10, 2011. Beloved husband of Sylvia Price of 39 years and father of Michael, Jr. Son of the late Hardy and Catherine Price. He is also survived by three brothers, Hardy, Lionel (Louise) and Edward; four sisters, Morra (James) Howard, Lolita (Louis) Augillard, Mary Price and Norina (Kermit) Pennington; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and beloved friends. A Celebration of his Life and his Legacy will be held on Friday, June 17 at 7 p.m. at Love Fellowship Christian Ministries, 9901 Brandywine Rd., Clinton, MD 20735. Interment in New Orleans, LA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Michael A. Price, Sr. Scholarship Fund may be sent to the Love Fellowship Christian Ministries at the above address.

Sylvia and MJ, I could not tell you everything I wanted to share at Mike's Celebration Service. I applaud you for being a family that loves, cares and shares with so many. I personally thank you for being such a support in my son's (Kirk) life, when he lived in Maryland. This is a difficult time but with God's arm of love surrounding you each day will get brighter. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and Mike was a good man. Thanks for loving, caring and sharing.

Mike was so full of life,Always smiling and carefree,Life loved him being a part of it,And I loved him being a part of me.He could make anyone laugh if they were having a bad day no matter how sad I was he could take the hurt away.Nothing could every stop him or even make him fall. He was ready to take on the world and ready to do it all.But God decided he needed him so from this world he left,But he took a piece of all of us,Our hearts are what he kept.his seat is now empty and it's hard not to see his face,But please always know this,No one will ever take his place.He left without a warning not even saying good-bye and I can't seem to stop asking the question why?Nothing will ever be the same,The rooms are empty without his laughter,But I know he is in Heaven watching over us and looking after.I didn't see this coming it hit me by surprise and when he left this world a large part of me died.His smile could brighten anyone's day no matter what they were going through and I know everyday for the rest of my life.

Michael Price was the best Dad I ever had. And he wasn't even my Dad. He was so smart, so devoted to his family, and so much fun. He will forever be my angel in adulthood, as he and Sylvia were in my young adulthood. MJ and Syl, keep your heads up. You were blessed, and now have the most attentive, detail oriented and analytical angel Heaven has to offer. May God bless and keep you.

Michael defined the word gentleman. My husband Robert and Michael belonged to The American Legion, Post 259, Clinton, MD. It was here that I met Michael and Sylvia playing Bingo on friday's.
