MICHAEL CHRISTOPHER STARR "Mike"
Michael (Mike) Christopher Starr of Washington, D.C. passed away on July 29, 2013 at the age of 41. Michael was an attorney who was passionate about the law and social justice. Michael is survived by his parents, Gayle and Nathan Starr of North Potomac, Maryland; his sister, Alison Starr of Los Angeles, California; his paternal grandmother, Doris Edmonson of Washington, DC; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 3 at the First Baptist Church of Gaithersburg: 200 West Diamond Avenue, Gaithersburg, MD 20877. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of Michael Starr to Gideon's Promise: 34 Peachtree Street, NW, Suite 2460, Atlanta, GA 30303.

I only recently learned of Michael's passing, and wish to send my sincerest condolences to his family. I briefly had the honor and pleasure of working with Michael on a case or two. He was a brilliant attorney, but more importantly, he was a very good man and mentor. I will cherish his memory forever.

grief is a sad and tradgey tears at the heart. It's okay to feel pain. Even Jesus wept upon hearing of his beloved Lazarus.I believe this... God knew your sons anguish and above all is taking care of him now as he is his child.I pray Michael will come to you in someway to give you a measure of comfort.I will continue to pray for the family every day.

Mike had an amazing sense of humor and made everyone around happy. I remember our days playing football and baseball. You always kept the team relaxed with your easy going ways. My heartfelt prayers go out to his family!
