Mildred Deramous Obituary
Mildred L. Deramous "Candy"
On Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Mt. Vernon Hospital after a brief illness. She leaves her loving husband of 46 years, Henry; her four children, Regina Maria Mills, Veronica D., Thaleia L., and Athena "Bilan" Deramous; 13 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; her brother, Ronald Lee and a host of other relatives and friends. A private service will be held this week, followed by a memorial service when State restrictions are lifted. Burial in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

There isn´t a day that as gone by during these 3 years that i haven´t thought about you. During Random times of the day ur signature smell well come across my nose,i´ll hear ur laugh or your voice. Only to drop a couple of tears to the realization because it´s all in my head. You were the sun and the light of the Deramous family.
I miss you nana. I love you

Honestly over the years it hasn´t actually gotten any easier.. On random nights her signature smell would pass my nose or i´d think i would hear her laugh or her voice but it would js be my head making sure i still haven´t forgot about the light and sun of the deramous family.
I miss you.

I worked with Mildred at Home Instead Senior Care until her retirement. Mildred was one of the kindest, most dedicated, home health aides I have ever known. She was always a bright light for her colleagues and our seniors!

I am very sad to learn that Candy has departed this life, and gone ahead of us to heaven. I'm especially sad for her family, especially for our dear Athena. Sending our love and prayers. The world will be poorer for her loss.

My sincere condolences to the Deramous family. Candy and I met at PBGC. We worked together and went on a few trips together. We remained in contact since retirement - definitely with the exchange of holiday cards. RIP Candy; Blessings to the family.
