MOLLY K. MACAULEY Ph.D.
Suddenly on July 8, 2016, Dr. Molly Kenna Macauley of Roland Park, Baltimore, MD; beloved wife of the late William Jeffrey Sheppard and devoted life partner of Lee Lasky; dear niece of Robert Eugene Macauley of Carlisle, MA. Also survived by many cousins. She also leaves devoted dogs, Leo and Wilga.Family, colleagues and friends are warmly invited to attend a Christian Science Service in the Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Second Presbyterian Church, 4200 St. Paul Street, Baltimore, MD 21218. Molly was my mentor at RFF. She was a brilliant economist, and a truly wonderful human being. The untimely death of Molly is a tragedy beyond comprehension. I'll forever remember her with deep respect.

I met Molly many years ago, when she accepted my invitation to speak at a Space Frontier Foundation conference. Since then, our paths crossed just a few times. Intelligent, committed, and a genuinely nice person, I will remember Molly with great fondness.
