MONICA R. SANOWAR
Peacefully on Friday, October 4, 2013. She is survived by her loving husband Bruce Sanowar; four step-children; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Services will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 7005 Piney Branch Rd. NW, on Tuesday, October 15, at 10 a.m. Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by McGuire.www.mcguire-services.com

So sorry to hear of the loss of Monica. I still remember meeting her when I would come to visit my mother at A&P offices over on New Hampshire. Monica was one of my mom's buddies. Always a smile, always a joke, such a sweet, sweet lady! She certainly knew how to turn a frown upside down! You will be missed by all who were blessed by having you in their lives! I, for one, enjoyed ALL the emails my mom would forward to me that were from YOU! Prayers for the family and friends of this dear, dear lady!

When I first came to A&P back in 1995, Monica was one of the first people I bonded with (in the smoking rooms). She and I didn't always agree but she always had on a beautiful smile and fantastic sense of humor. I'll always remember your hot sauce :o) Rest in Peace.

Although I never met her in person, Monica and I had email conversations on family history for many years. She and I did not always see eye to eye, but I always found my discussions with her infinitely interesting and informative. I am truly sorry to hear of Monica's death. She was totally involved, with universal interests. Monica, you will be missed.
