Jim and Meredith Moss
June 30, 2009
Dear Helen,
Although Meredith and I have never met you personally, we feel we know you in a way. We first met Nelson during our time together at the Embassy in Bonn during the 1960's–I worked on one angle of Berlin affairs. Nelson was a great friend and we have held him in great regard for the past 40 years or so. Our affection goes out to you and the whole Ledsky family. Nelson was truly one of a kind.
Affectionately, Jim and Meredith Moss

On reading the June 28th Washington Post, I was saddened to learn of Foreign Service colleague and fellow Clevelander Nelson Ledksy's death. He was a true professional, of fine intellect and boundless energy. Our loss is great.

My condolences for your loss. Nelson was truly an inspiration to myself and many young people who worked with him at NDI. He will be greatly missed.
