I was an intern at MEMRI in the early 2000s when Nimrod was working there. He immediately took me under his wing and was always willing to help me in my Arabic studies and scholarship on the Middle East. Being a Navy ROTC midshipman at GWU, he fondly called me the Admiral and was always encouraging of my call to service. He was an amazing man, an incredible role model for a college kid, and a truly wonderful person to be around. I´ll never forget his warmth, his humor, and his caring attitude. Rest in peace, dear friend.
