Nirmal Khalsa Obituary
NIRMAL KAUR KHALSA, age 53 of Reston passed away at her residence on Tuesday, June 13, 2006. She is survived by her daughters, Satjeet K. Mangham of Albuquerque, NM and Avtar K. Khalsa of San Francisco, CA; her son, Krishan Prakash S. Khalsa of Reston, VA; her grandchild, Kira A. Mangham; her sisters, Pamela Mackay and Melinda Rae Macintosh. A service will take place on Thursday, June 15, 2006 at 11 a.m. at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, 811 Cameron St., Alexandria, VA. Interment will be private.

I have a fondness for Nirmal as someone I grew up with in the community. Life was sometimes too harsh on her and yet she never lost her grace. Even though I didn't really connect much in the last few years I always considered her as family. I am sad about yet another one of my 3HO sisters passing away early in life.
