Patsy Jean Guditus

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Patsy Jean Guditus, 92, of Arlington, Virginia, on September 5, 2025, at Virginia Hospital Center.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Amelia Leonard; her stepfather, Henry Lee Leonard; her sister, Betty Jo Richardson; her brother, Tommy Clay Leonard; and her son, David Paul Guditus.
Patsy is survived by her children: Carol Beales (Mark), Cynthia Guditus (Tom Cheeley), Lynda Guditus Williamson (John), Patty Loveless (John), Jeannie Minyard (David), Mark Guditus (Pearl), and Michael Guditus (Angie); her grandchildren: Jennifer Bauserman (Russ), Jamie Trumble (Mandy McManaway), Noah Minyard, Monica Minyard, Erich Minyard, Jonathan Loveless (Brigette), Kyle Loveless, Casey Guditus (Colin Vaughn), and Kevin Guditus; her great-grandchildren: Heather Trumble, Sarah Mascho (Ross), Jordan Tenneson, and Austin Weekes; as well as many nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Murphy's Funeral Home, 1102 W. Broad Street, Falls Church, VA 22046. A remembrance service will take place on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 9 a.m. at Murphy's Funeral Home, Falls Church, followed by interment at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria, VA.
