Patricia Cosimano Obituary

(Age 96)
Patricia Pyatt Cosimano peacefully passed away on September 26, 2025 surrounded by several of her children and grandchildren. Pat was born on February 6, 1929 in Washington, DC where she grew up and spent most of her adult years. She married the love of her life, Paul Cosimano in 1951 and together they raised seven children. They enjoyed going to their children's many sports events and activities, spending summers at Bethany Beach and watching baseball and football.
Pat's 1st career was as a stay-at-home mom- which she did tirelessly and with enthusiasm. Her next act was when the kids were mostly grown and she became a very successful real estate agent, practicing into her 80s.
Pat enjoyed going to rummage sales, which initially started as a way to save money, then became a passionate hobby. (which she passed on to many of her children!) She amassed a large collection of antique dolls. Pat was also an animal lover, especially dogs.
What Pat enjoyed most in life was caring for and spending time with her beloved husband, children, and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul, mother Ina, and son Paul Joseph. Pat is survived by her children, Kathleen. (Stephanos), Jeanne, Mary (Jim), Anne, Carl (Katherine), Stephen (Clara), grandchildren, Paul, Katerina, Danny, Sam, Elena, Kristina, Matthew and Anthony, and great grandchild, Stephanos as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Pat was beloved by many and will be sorely missed.
Viewing will be held at Devol Funeral Home, 2222 Wisconsin Ave., Washington, DC, Friday, October 3, 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at Annunciation Church, 3810 Mass Ave., Washington, DC on Saturday, October 5, 12:30 p.m. Reception to follow.
