Years pass by and we grieve the loss of Jackie, Jim, and Pat. I loved watching you and Pat having a meal on your porch or hosting a lively group in your home. Chautauqua was so special to all. Ruth

Pat was a special person who lived a full life that touched many others. Though I hadn't seen her in many years, I was not surprised to read about her accomplishments, interests, and activities. We lost a really good one in Pat.

I will miss you so much, dear Pat. You were a bright shining start. Just knowing that you were in the universe seemed to make things ok. You fought a gallant battle and it just isn't fair. Our Guacamole Group won't be the same without your insight.

Pat was a wonderful colleague and friend and I'm so glad that I was able to have a meal with her last May in Georgetown. My condolences to Steve and the children and many friends--she was an able leader and a great woman.

I will remember Pat as the woman you could not say no to. She asked me to serve on the Board of the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance after my sister died of OC. That was a life-changing experience for me. I learned about the importance of advocacy from her example. I will miss this remarkable woman dearly. I am honored to have called her a friend. May her memory always be a blessing to Steve and family.

We are deeply saddened to hear about Pat's passing. Pat touched the lives of so many she knew and others she didn't, through her work and activism. We are fortunate to have known her and will miss her beautiful spirit.
