PATRICIA ANN KEY
On January 2, 2013 of Capitol Heights, MD. Beloved daughter of Mary L. and the late Edward T. Harris; loving sister of Joan (James), Pamela (Bruce), Miranda (Andre'), Ernest (Sharon), Wayne, Thomas and Glenn; dear aunt of Kristi, Kisha, KaNiece, Kori and Candace. She is also survived by fiance, Charles; two godchildren, Logan and Lyric, and a host of other relatives and friends. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday, January 8 from 9 a.m. until time of service, 11 a.m. at 11400 Glenn Dale Blvd., Glenn Dale, MD. Interment Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.

Trisha was a wonderful woman who was a delight to be around. Her positive attitude and poise during her illness are a shining example of humility and strength that I will carry for the rest of my life. She will be missed. My thoughts are with her and her family.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Key family. I'm going to miss turning that corner running into the beautiful person she was and that pleasant smile even on her worst days. I would always asked how you doing, she would smile and say I'm okay….I'll be alright.

Pat was an employee of our office for around 20 years and we will truly miss her. I was always amazed at how beautiful she always was and how well she carried herself, even when she was feeling her worst. My heart goes out to the entire Key family; remember her smile, all the good times you had with her, and how very much she loved you. God Bless.

Trisha, for all the time that we worked together (over 15 years) I can't remember one situation where you did not show understanding and compassion for your fellow workers. You had grace, beauty, and the most positive attitude. In your world, things were always going to get better. When you had to face your illness, you did it with strength and humor. I remember how you laughed describing how you were dealing with losing your hair after your treatment. You never shied away. You talked to anyone willing to listen. You showed us what being strong was all about. I will miss you dearly. RIP my friend.

One of the sweetest people that I have had the opportunity to say “a real true friend” has now passed over to the other side. Unfortunately, sometimes you really don't know the impact a person has until they are gone. I know I am not alone when I say that for such a diminutive person in size you leave a large void in many hearts. Rest in Peace my friend.
