Patricia MacNaught Obituary

June 27, 1942 - November 14, 2025
Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend
Patricia Ann MacNaught (affectionately known as Ma or Mom) passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of November 14, surrounded in her final days by the love and presence of her devoted family - her children, grandchildren, sister, brother-in-law, and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruth Adams; her brother, Thomas; and her youngest son, Steve. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering faith, cherished by her sister, Georgina; and brother-in-law, Rick; her children, Harold and Wendy, George and Jennifer, and Susan and Joe; and her beloved grandchildren, Patrick, Alexa, Tyler, Adam, Elizabeth, Jillian, Andrew, Zachary, and Lucas - who were the absolute lights of her life. Pat taught us all the power of trusting yourself and having the courage to leap. As a single mother of four, she made the bold decision to leave her job and start her own medical billing and consulting company, PPA, named after the initials of her grandchildren at the time. Her business thrived for over two decades, creating opportunities and stability for many family members and friends. She was immensely proud of what she built and the lives that it touched. Her success allowed her to pursue another great passion: travel. Whether exploring Ireland or creating magical memories at Disney World, Pat made sure her family experienced the joy of adventure together. These trips, filled with laughter and love, remain unforgettable to all who joined her. Faith was a cornerstone of Pat's life. She rarely missed weekend Mass and formed deep friendships through her church community. Summers spent volunteering at a convent in Cape May, NJ were among her most cherished times. In her later years, Pat found joy and companionship in her condo community in Ellicott City, MD. She was the social heartbeat of the building-organizing hallway dinner clubs, book and wine gatherings, and lively happy hours that brought neighbors together in celebration and connection. Pat also expressed her love through cooking-though not always the cleanup! Her meals were a magnet for family visits, and her kitchen was a place of warmth, stories, and laughter. Those who knew Pat knew she had her own version of the truth-retelling stories with a sparkle that sometimes differed from others' memories. But in her eyes, we were all extraordinary, and she made sure we felt that way. Her perspective was one of love, optimism, and unwavering belief in the goodness of those around her. We will miss her deeply, but we take comfort in knowing she is now resting peacefully in Heaven, reunited with those she loved and lost. Her spirit, strength, and love will live on in all of us. At a later date, services may be announced on the funeral home's website. Expressions of sympathy may be offered to the family and more information can be found at
