Patricia Munoz Obituary
Patricia Bourne Munoz passed away on May 16, 2025. Pat was born in Dinwiddie, VA, in 1935. She graduated from Midlothian High School in 1953 and Madison College in 1957. In 1966, she received a fellowship as one of twenty-five librarians nationwide at Wayne State University, where she earned a Master's of Education degree.
Pat worked as an elementary school librarian in Arlington County for 35 years, a job she dearly loved.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Harry (Ardys), David Dalton (Kathy), Joyce Conger, Deborah Bourne Hathorn (Bill Reid), Barbara Bourne Leary (Rich), James Monroe Bourne III (Tracy), Martha Bourne Naset (Joe), and George Bourne (Kim) and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service, June 29 at Central United Methodist Church, 1211 Porter St., Richmond, VA 23224 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Central United Methodist Church or Mount Olivet United Methodist Church, 1600 N. Glebe Rd, Arlington, VA 22207.
