Patrick Hansard Obituary

Patrick V. Hansard, passed away on December 23, 2024. He was predeceased by his parents, Orren and Jacqueline (Jourdrier) Hansard, and his brother Michel Hansard.

He is survived by his daughter, Allison Hansard of Fort Washington, Maryland; his sister, Martine Hansard-Stuebner of Haymarket, Virginia; his brother, Denis Hansard of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and his ex-wife, Victoria Hansard of Alexandria, Virginia.

Born in Nashville, Tennessee, Patrick lived in various countries during his childhood due to his father's work with Catholic Relief Services, including Paris, Germany, and Morocco. He attended Université Paris and spent his professional career in publishing, including positions at Masson Publishing, McGraw Hill, and Industrial Press. His final role was Vice President of Marketing and Acting Publisher at the American Psychiatric Association.

Patrick enjoyed traveling internationally for work and spending time at the family home in Normandy, France.

A memorial celebration will be held on Sunday, February 16, from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at the Wine House, 3950 University Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030.
