I have been in Key West and I won´t return for another week. I just learned of Paul´s passing. Words fail me in expressing my sorrow and condolences to my friend Nick and his family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May God give you solace and strength. I know of Nick´s pride in his son and in Paul´s accomplishments and this is a sad time. May he Rest In Peace.

I was driving on 95-N when I received the call of Paul's passing and started hyperventilating and had to pull over and compose myself. We cannot imagine your family's overwhelming pain right now despite the fact that my wife Lise and I both lost siblings in our early years. I would encounter Paul and Nick at a local Arlington lunch spot with other lawyers of their firm. Nick's pride in his handsome, strapping son was evident--and as a father and grandfather I understood. Words along cannot convey our shock and sadness. In the days that come, knowing what I know of your family, I am confident in your ability to somehow regroup and carry on and to tend to your emotional, spiritual and physical needs, particularly of the two remaing children whose lives will be affected by this tragic event for scores of years. Paul was a good man and a young lawyer off to a good and growing career. He grew up in the church and its activities and was part of the group of future adult leaders in the community. His absence will now be deeply and inexorably felt. May he rest in peace and may his memory be eternal. He will dwell with the angels now in the Unending Light. Profoundest sympathies from all of us.

We are broken-hearted at the loss of Paul. We watched him grow up from young boy to a fine man who was such a good friend to our daughter and to countless other classmates. We are so grateful he was part of our lives and our memories of his smile, laughter and loyal friendship will never be forgotten. Andrew, we love you and hope you know what a wonderful treasured brother you were to Paul. Nick and Katina, our deepest condolences for your loss. May happy memories of the years you had together with Paul bring you peace.
