PETER AINSLIE Obituary

PETER AINSLIE (Age 85)
Passed away peacefully on February 11, 2015. Exceptionally loving and devoted husband of Sharon Schultz. Survived by his loving sister and brother-in-law Elizabeth and George Stern; nephews Mark Stern, Christopher Stern, and Richard Stern and niece Jenifer Stern and their families. He is also survived by many loving friends and devoted parishioners. Born in Baltimore, Peter was a graduate of three seminaries and minister to several churches, most recently at Brookmont Community Church in Bethesda, MD, and Randall Street Church in Baltimore. He was noted for his immensely kind, giving, warm, extroverted, and open-minded nature; his brilliant, inquiring, scholarly mind; and the depth of his knowledge and curiosity about spirituality. Peter was an avid peace activist and very involved in the civil rights movement and other social justice issues. Memorial service to celebrate Peter to be held in early Spring. Contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
