Peter Pierpont Obituary

PIERPONT, PETER F., COL. USAF (RET.)

Passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2003 in Arlington, VA. Survived by a loving and devoted wife, Dana L. Pierpont; son, Peter F. Pierpont Jr.; daughter, Cheryl P. Inman; stepson, Jeff R. Hart; stepdaughter, Christina L. O'Connor; two brothers, David Pierpont and John Pierpont, and six grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 14 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at DEMAINE SPRINGFIELD-ANNANDALE CHAPEL, Backlick and Edsall Rds., Springfield, VA. A funeral service will be held at Fort Myer Old Post Chapel on Wednesday, January 29, at 9 a.m. Family and friends are asked to gather at the Chapel at 8:30 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery with full Military Honors. Charitable donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 124 Park St. S.E., P.O. Box 699, Vienna, VA 22183.
