On February 28, 2005 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Setzer; children, David (Tamra), Patricia (the late J.R. Donehey III) and Steven Setzer (Jane) and Jennifer Schreiner; grandchildren Nicholas Setzer, Jessica Brock (Sam), Eric and Wyatt Setzer and Tobey Schreiner (Paige); great-granddaughters Carly and Mary Schreiner. Memorial and interment services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery on April 5, 2005. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Capital Hospice, Beltsville, MD.

I always enjoyed talking about flying with Mr Setzer. He was only one of a handful of people I knew who enjoyed flying and talking about it as much as I did. I will always cherish those conversations.
