Philip Edward Lavigne

Philip Edward Lavigne of Manassas, VA died August 1, 2022. He was the son of Francis E Lavigne and Anne Onges Lavigne of Brockton Massachusetts. He is survived by his wife Mary Cowles Lavigne and his three sons: Patrick (Lari), Peter, and Timothy; and by his grandson Tyler Lavigne.

Mr. Lavigne began his career as an enlisted language specialist with the ASA and retired over 45 years later as a Senior Intelligence Officer to the Joint Chiefs of Staff. After his retirement he spent three years with Booze Allen Hamilton.

*A fun fact: In the late 1970's he was Commodore of the American Yacht Club, Berlin but he never sailed anything larger than their 29-foot Dragon!

Graveside service at Quantico National Cemetery will be private.
