PHILIP SARDELIS Obituary

SARDELIS PHILIP GEORGE SARDELIS of Derwood, MD passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the age of 48. Philip is the beloved husband of Lissette Sardelis of 12 years; loving father of Marcel (26), Michael (19), Georgie (12), and Nefeli (10). He was a loving son to his mother Nefeli George Sardelis. He is also survived by his sister Christine Renner and his dear cousins Philip E. Sardelis and Maria Flemetaki. Philip leaves behind many other loving relatives and friends. Predeceased by his supportive father George P. Sardelis, may his memory be eternal. Philip G. Sardelis was an amazing son, a wonderful loving husband, and the best father to his children. He was a man whoboth loved and was committed to his extended family who he valued above all else. He was incredibly proud of his Greek heritage and dreamed of retiring in Crete or Athens. He was larger than life. He was an entrepreneur and innovator who was constantly striving to create, perform, advance, and achieve. He was a passionate leader that pushed his team to excellence. He was never afraid to share his knowledge and teach others so they could achieve their goals and succeed. He was a dedicated business partner to his beloved cousin Philip E. Sardelis, whom he considered to be his brother. Philip was a loyal friend that showed his love unconditionally. He was a kindhearted and generous human being that served God by loving his friends, neighbors, and community. Above all he was a servant of God and obedient heavenly son, he wanted nothing more than to learn how to follow His commands, and prayed daily that one day he could reach the stars in His presence. Due to restrictions a service will be livestreamed at St. George's Greek Orthodox Church, located at 7701 Bradley Blvd, Bethesda, MD, on Wednesday, May 5, 2021with a viewing to start at 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with the service to start at 11 a.m. via YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRICBePvToA. Thinking of You
You have lost someone very special, someone who touched many Hearts..

Philip has been in our family since Jr High School. We were living in Aspen Hill Md. Great Memories!
I'm not sure that words can express the profound feelings and respect we have for Phillip.
Philip was a man of integrity, in everything he touched, professionally and personally. His legendary career is one that we can aspire to.
He will always remain a part of our family, he will be missed dearly.
