PHYLLIS SPINETTA Obituary


Phyllis Ann Davis Spinetta  
Phyllis Ann Davis Spinetta died peacefully on January 6, 2022. Born April 30, 1946, in Washington, DC, Phyllis was the second oldest of seven children to Martin and Mildred Davis. She graduated from the Academy of the Holy Cross in 1964. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family during retirement. Prior to retiring in 2012, she worked at Arent Fox most recently. Phyllis is survived by her son Tim Tobin (Sara); stepdaughter Melissa Spinetta Conrad (Kegan); grandchildren Finley and Chase; sisters Regina Holstein and Patricia Roane; brothers Martin Davis (Rebecca), Michael Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Janet Scott; brother Russell Davis; and stepson Frank Spinetta. Phyllis was extremely passionate about her grandchildren, enjoyed going to the beach and sailing, and was an excellent cook. She was a positive, kind soul who loved to make others happy. She will be missed dearly. Some of Phyllis' happiest moments were spent on the Chesapeake Bay. To continue this love and support her interests, donations can be made to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in her memory.A private ceremony will be held for family and friends.
