After knowing Ralph for more than fifty years (since I was eight years old), I can say that he was the living definition of 'a good man.' He and Betty and their children were the closest of friends to my parents and siblings and me, and they showed us countless unrepayable kindnesses. I was beginning to think that Ralph just might live forever, and I liked that idea a lot. Sorry to see him finish up his business here.
