Worked w/Ralph at DOJ from 1961 to about 1965. He was one of the greatest guys I ever met. Giora (Ben) Ben-Horin

Ralph was a true mentor to me, and many others. He was, among many other things, a true case of a person who taught you that you did not need to agree with a person on lots of "important" issues to learn from him and, most important, value him as a friend. He also went through the terrible pain of losing Stretch so, so too early and built a - partly empty, but good - life after that, and he had the great good fortune to have three wonderful children. That is true immortality.

I loved him and am sorry his time with us ended. My prayers are with the family and I send my regrets I cannot be with you and at the Mass. Fay Vincent
