My thoughts and prayers go out to the Jackson family during this very difficult time. This is a huge loss to all those who knew Malik. No matter how long the time was that we hadn't seen or spoken to one another, when we did see each other it was as if no time had lapsed. We will see each other again...in a better place.

I first met Malik in junior high school and we remained friends through the years. If I needed a laugh or a hug, he was someone that I could go to.
Although I had not spoken to him in years, he will be missed immensely in my heart.
