My Dearest Grandaddy,
I know that you are at peace and no longer fighting, but there are so many things that I wish I could have said even if you may have already known them. You are my hero, I have never in my life met such a mountain of a man with the kindest hand and encouraging word as you. I am glad that you are with Uncle Brian and Timmy but my heart still aches just the same. I love you and miss you terribly. I know that you are always with me and all of the family and for that I am happy and feel blessed to have been apart of this wonderful love that created this beautiful family. Love you forever and ever to the moon and stars above. Jessi (The Marine)

My cousin Ray, you have meant so much to our family and to me personally. Always calling me while sitting by the "Beautiful Potomic" as you referred to it just to check in and see how I was. You are loved and you will be missed but above all you will be remebered in our hearts for ever.

My Friend, My Coach, My Hero, and most of all My Dad. You have blessed my life with so much love and compassion. Your smile, your daily phone calls, your kind and gentle words and your hugs are just a few of the many things I am already missing. I will always cherish our coffee talks "down the river". Dad you can rest easy, Mom is in good hands. We all are watching over her and will give it our all to keep her safe. Your legacy will live on "Mister Man".
God Speed....

I shall greatly miss my big, handsome, loving, cousin, Raymie with his laughing eyes and big booming, joyous laughter. He was ever faithful, always calling or emailing to check in on us (me), especially after Mom passed on. I know she is there waiting with open arms to greet him and to show all the neat places and things to do with one of them being their favorite thing: Flying. Oh how they both loved to fly and now Ray and Fay are together again and can fly free along with Al and Brian. God bless and love them both for they are truly His free spirited children. I send my love and prayers to the family, my southern cousins.
Love always, His Lindy Girl:
Cousin Linda

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Mitchell as I admitted him to our unit at Mt. Vernon Hospital and in that very short time he made a lasting impression. Since I am in management I don't often get intimate moments with patients but we had the opportunity to talk and he asked if I was an angel and if I could just sit by his side. It reminded me of why I went into this field and the difference that I could make in a life so near its end. According to him he had been through a lot with his health over the last year and it was comforting to know that despite how sick he was when he came in he still had such a warm heart. I am sure his family was lucky to have him.
