Rebecca Redmond Obituary

REDMOND

REBECCA STUART REDMOND

Born April 30, 1953, passed away Friday, May 11, 2007 at the age of 54. Leaving behind her husband, John; daughter, Samantha; and three siblings Peggy, Johnny and Fred.

Becky was a compassionate woman who cared deeply for everyone she knew. She made everything okay when the world was upside down. As a mother, she was not only wonderful but more importantly a best friend. As a wife, she was devoted in all aspects and loved in every way.

Becky became a strong Christian woman and was baptized along with her husband and daughter on October 11,1998. They were the three musketeers and would do everything together from work to play. She was a loving Mother and Wife; a great friend to all who knew her.

Dear John and Sam,
I was deeply sadden to here that
Becky had gone to be with the Lord.
Becky was my friend.I would talk to
Lana and Becky often. We had some good talks. She also would give me
advise and she would keep my spirits
to as I to had cancer. My computer has been down for awhile and I just got it another.I was shocked to here
the news. The last time we spoke she
was going in for some test and asked
that I keep her in my prayers and my fingers crossed.I am so very sorry for your loss.I know that my
heart is breaking and yours is a million times worse.I will keep you in my prayers and have you put on the church prayer list.
Sincerely yours,

Dear Redmond Family,

I was so saddened to hear that Mrs. Redmond had gone home to rest in the loving arms of the Lord. My prayers are with you as you go through this time of sorrow. But I am reminded that "He will keep you in perfect peace." May His peace sustain you at this time.

Dear John and Samantha
My deepest sorrow at Becky's Rebirth.
But do not be dismayed at goodbyes.
Goodbyes are necessary in order to meet again.
And meet again you will
after moments and lifetimes
as husband and daughter.
The three of you as family forever
GOD'S Blessings until your reunion.

Dear John and Samantha

The care and love you both demonstrated during this crisis are a tribute to your wife and mother. I can’t say I have ever seen a family more caring and giving to each other. I know Becky will be gravely missed; and, that it has really been a difficult year(s) for you both recently. But, remember the good times and life will be good again eventually. With Samantha just beginning her life as a young woman, John you surely know you are not done giving as you did to your darling wife, now to your daughter and her needs (as parents our needs always seem to come last; but, that is OK also!). I know you have a huge circle of friends and Our Father and Savior will comfort you in this time of need for comfort. “Ask, and you will receive” was His message and it truly exists!

Please know Becky will be missed by all, probably especially her animals. She loved them and they loved her – unconditionally -regardless if one of them was destroying the house while you were gone!! Any anger turned to humor, just as it did for Janet with her animals. We learn from our parents and I am sure you will see more and more of Becky in Samantha day after day. . .and, that will also be a Blessing. There is no easy way on this difficult journey; but, your family, friends, Savior, and animals will comfort you more than you could ever imagine.

Our Love is with you both at this difficult and trying time.

I, too, am one of those who Becky (nuagecoco) touched in the CSN when I was diagnosed with cancer 5 years ago. I will always remember her uplifting spirit, even though we never met in person. My thoughts and prayers are with her family as you begin this very difficult journey without her.

Becky was the sweetest woman I have ever met. I am blessed to have met her and she was so dear with my girls. Becky always had a kind and encouraging word and to lend an ear. This is but a glimpse of the type of mother she was to Samantha and the love that she received from John.
John's love and compassion was so great for Becky and she glowed through and through at the mention of her family. She will be sorely missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with John and Samantha during this difficult time.

Much love,
Julie Mullen

John and Samantha, you've been in the midst of your own true to life fairy tale for as many years as you've cherished, continue the story as you live each day!

Becky was such a beautiful woman, in so many ways. She often reminded me of the statement 'tough cookie' - crisp/sharp on the outside, but inside she was actually melty and sweet.

Becky showed us all what it meant to be a fighter.......and boy did she ever fight. I will always hold her in the highest regards.
Her special brand of humor during such a horrific ordeal will keep the entire csn chat room talking and smilling for years.

John and Sam....my deepest heart felt prayers are with you.
I am so very sorry.

For all us that had the pleasure of knowing her.......I know I feel blessed that I got the chance to know her, even if it was just a little, for just a short time.

I know she is an angel in heaven as she was here on earth. I was one of the blessed survivors who started on CSN around the time she did. I spent hours talking with her and others online. I am saddened and the celebration of my 5 yrs is lessened by her loss in our lives.

To John & Sam -- know that you are in our prayers. I am about to lose my aunt to oral cancer W/mets to the brain so YOU are in my heart, I understand your loss. She was truly one of the most kind and loving people I have ever had the priviledge to know.

I pray for the peace of christ to surround you and protect you always. Phil4: 6 - 7.

I hope I can be the inspiration to others that she has been to me.

Love always,

Becky was a very special friend and one of two very special ladies to befriend me when I was first diagnosed. I'm so glad that she was in my life and that we had the chance to talk from time to time. She touched so many lives and made the world a nicer, classier place. She was beautiful both inside and out.

Becky~I will forever think of you as "Johnsblond", for this is what you truly were, in all beautiful ways. Your style, your faith, your compassion and love are a standing testament to your worth as a wife, a mother to Samantha, and most importantly,as a God-fearing woman.

I will never forget the encouragement you gave me when I was diagnosed with cancer, and how our online friendship through the ACS blossomed into one of the most special bonds I have ever come to know.
You will be forever in my heart.

Be at peace, beautiful lady.
Reggie and I treasure having come to know you.

Love to John, Samantha and all who you so graciously touched with your your very being.

In memory of one of the most beautiful women I have ever known. Coco (Becky) you will remain in my heart forever.

Many of us from CSN chat, have never understood how we could love someone so much whom we have never met.

We shared so much, and learned from each other. With love and laughter we muddled through our journey.

I pray I was half as dear a friend to you as you were to me.

To the family most especially John and Samantha, I share your grief and wish for you God's blessing of healing for you all.

You are not alone. With love Lana
