REGINALD A. BURRIS
Sadly our family and community announces the loss of our dear father, husband, son and friend, Reginald "Reggie" Andrew Burris of Ashburn, VA. Reggie passed away at age 59 on Monday, January 24, 2022. He is survived by his mother, Roxie Burris Curtis, who loved him more than words can express; wife, Georgina Withmowth Santana; son, Andrew Burris; daughter, Taylor Burris and only grandchild, Baby Rose (Rees). Also survived by siblings, sister, Carol Armenteros and brothers, Kenneth and Irick Burris. Reggie's personality was infectious and was known to us for his enormous heart, smile and love for all kinds of music, especially "House and Latin music". He served his country in the US Navy and career focus in cyber system engineering. Viewing and visistaton will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. at The Community Church, 19790 Ashburn Rd., Ashburn, VA 20147. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to your local chapter of the American Red Cross. God Bless you Reginald (Reggie) Burris. John F. Kennedy High school. God is with you, I and all our friends and family will miss you.Thank you for your friend ship and playing football with me at J.F.K. High School in the Bronx N.Y. Love you brother and will miss you. Phil Wilson, Paul and I are praying for you. Thank you for being you Reggie. My God, I am so sad.

Great friend, amazing son, loyal brother, dedicated dad and grandfather. Just a few words that encapsulate who you were as a person. You will be missed - your laughter was infectious and kindness unparalleled. Thank you for being authentically you during your time here. We mourn our loss but Heaven rejoices to having you back home. I want to say be on your best behavior but the Angels surely knew what awaited them. Rest well dear one.
