Reno Carlitti Obituary
Reno Pierce Carlitti, 25, of New York City, passed away on August 7, 2023.
Reno was born on September 6, 1997 to Rocco and Renuka Carlitti in Rockville, MD and was raised in Alexandria, VA. He was a Presidential Scholar at Gonzaga College High School (2015), an officer of the National Honor Society, participant of Kairos CXXIX, and a member of the Gonzaga Dramatic Association. He double-majored in Accounting and Finance at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business and minored in Cognitive Science, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science (2019). After graduation, Reno worked in Manhattan for J.P. Morgan for four years in both the Core and Growth U.S. Equity teams and was promoted to the position of Senior Investment Associate.
Reno was loving, joyful, and considerate; he readily helped anyone in need. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
Reno is survived by his parents, Rocco and Renuka Carlitti; his older brother, Roman; his grandmother, Dharmalatha Deheragoda; his aunt and uncle, Angela and Ciro Frontale Jr.; and their children, Ciro III and Mary; his aunt and uncle, Deborah and Justin Carlitti, and their children, Justin Jr., Charles, William, and Sawyer.
The Carlitti family is deeply grateful to all of Reno's family, friends, and co-workers who cherished and supported him.
Visitation, funeral, and burial information follows.
Friday, August 25: Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 W. Braddock Rd., Alexandria, VA 22302; Visitation and Vigil/Rosary from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday, August 26: St. Rita Catholic Church, 3815 Russell Rd., Alexandria, VA 22305; Visitation at 11 a.m.; Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon. Interment will follow immediately at All Souls Cemetery, 1140 Brink Rd., Germantown, MD 20876.
Memorials may be given to The Father McKenna Center which supports Washington, DC community members who are experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. Condolences may be shared at https://www.everlywheatley.com/tributes/Reno-Carlitti
