RICHARD LARM Obituary
Richard Pearson Larm
A prominent Justice Department attorney who influenced U.S. international trade and antitrust policy, died August 5, 2021 at Bridgeport Hospital in Connecticut of Parkinson's Disease. He was 76. Dick was a proud product of the Denver public school system. He graduated with honors from Harvard College in 1967, and from Harvard Law School in 1970. He began his legal career at the New York law firm of Donovan, Leisure, Newton and Irvine. In 1976 he joined the Antitrust Division's Foreign Commerce Section at the Dept. of Justice. He was one of their longest serving attorneys, retiring in 2016.He lived in Alexandria, VA for more than 30 years, and is survived by his wife, Jona Vieta.A memorial service will be held at St Luke's Episcopal Church, 8009 Fort Hunt Rd., Alexandria, VA on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow.
