RICHARD McCRACKEN Obituary


Richard Allan McCracken (Age 58)  
Of Upper Marlboro, MD, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Richard was born December 10, 1963 to the late Landon McCracken Jr. and Patricia Jones McCracken in Johnson City, TN and his family relocated to Capitol Heights area in his early years. Richard met his current wife, Christine McCracken, when they were teenagers and sparks flew. They found their way back to one another in 2016 and were married in 2018. Richard would help others when asked and often did random acts of kindness for family, friends, coworkers or strangers. Richard will be remembered by his wonderful smile, his fun nature and his ability to make friends with all of those he met. Richard was preceded in death by parents, Landon McCracken Jr. and Patricia McCracken; and sister, Tammy Walker. He is survived by siblings, Debbie, Vickie, Shirley and Roger; daughters, Shaina and Amber; step daughters, Rachel and Katherine; and 10 grandchildren.
