Dr. Perry was the family doctor to my husband and me at his practice in Northwest DC. He was a wonderful person and very caring man. We still miss him. Does anyone know what happened to his medical practice "The Internists of Washington" after he retired?

My deep sympathies to all the family. While I did not know Dr Perry for long, We were called in to help care for him about 2 weeks before he passed (Assisting Hands Home Care). I was so impressed with Edee and son Micheal and the love they had for Dr Perry. A beautiful family in so many ways. Sleep well Dr Perry. Kathleen

To the Perry family

I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Perry's passing

I worked for Dr Perry for 30 years from 1965-1995. He was also my physician.

Of course, I have many memories but what stands out was that he was the most kind, caring , respected, and wonderful physician to his patients and employees. He got me through many hard times in my life.

My condolences and prayers.

Dear Edee,

According to Leo Rosten, author of The Joys of Yiddish, a "mensch" is "someone to admire and emulate, someone of noble character. The key to being 'a real mensch' is nothing less than character, rectitude, dignity, a sense of what is right, responsible, decorous. The term implies the rarity and value of that individual's qualities.

Richard B. Perry was a mensch through and through. He was a particularly good person, a stand-up guy and a person of integrity and honor.

Helen Mann, our late mother, was a patient of Dr. Perry for many years. She also was a rather severe judge of people. She always referred to Dr. Perry as a true mensch. To people of her generation, this was the highest compliment one could bestow on a person.

We will always think of Dick Perry with great fondness and admiration. Dick Perry will remain a great source of inspiration for us.

Love, Prayers, and God's Blessings and Comfort to you, and the whole Family!

As Ever,

Amy, John and Oscar Mann

I am so very sad to hear of Dr. Perry's passing. He and my Dad (Mel Clark) were such great friends, playing tennis and cards on a regular basis over so many years. The fact that Dad referred to him as "Hap" because of his huge smile shows how kind and gentle a man he really was. I imagine Hap and Dad are together now having a splendid reunion! Love to the whole family during this difficult time.
