RICHARD ALLEN STEINBERG
Passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on the evening of Thursday, September 6, 2007, in his home in Lorton, VA, surrounded by his family. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, he has lived in the Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia area since 1968.
He was the beloved husband of Leslie; adored father of Adrienne, Joel and Ariel; "kid" brother to Susan and a dear and special friend to many. He will be greatly missed. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 10, 2007 at 1 p.m. at River Farm in Alexandria, VA, 7931 East Boulevard Dr., Alexandria, VA 22308. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make contributions to PanCAN, (www.pancan.org/Donate) or to Life with Cancer-directed to Caregivers (www.inova.com)

So very sorry to hear this sad news. I have such fond memories of the weekend in South Royalton at Joel and Matt's Graduation.
