On Thursday, February 8, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Ruth A. Banwarth (nee Thomas); father of William (Mary) Banwarth and David (Linda) Banwarth; brother of the late John Banwarth and Donald Banwarth; brother-in-law of Bette Banwarth; grandfather of Cindy Sutton, Robert Banwarth, Rebecca Thur, Jennifer Turnbough, and Natalie Banwarth; great-grandfather of Christy Short, Scott Sutton, Kevin Banwarth, Jenna Banwarth, Robert Banwarth, Ashleigh Thur, Aidan Thur, Alexandra Thur, Henry Turnbough and Rosalynn Turnbough. Bob served in the US Navy during World War II and retired from the FBI. Relatives and friends may call at the BORGWARDT FUNERAL HOME, 4400 Powder Mill Rd. Beltsville, MD on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 8300 Old Columbia Rd, Fulton, MD 20759 on Tuesday, February 13 at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, MD.
