Robert Castro Obituary
Robert James Castro
Robert James Castro, son of Dr. Alejandro F. Castro and Mrs. Fanchon Aldrich Castro, born on February 7, 1947, has died at the age of 76 on August 27, 2023. He was a graduate of The Sidwell Friends School in 1965, and he graduated with a B.A. in economics from The George Washington University in 1969. He was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman, but what he enjoyed most was fishing. Robert was a talented musician, with a special appreciation for classical guitar. His career in the banking and insurance industries spanned decades, with his most recent achievement being the publication of a book regarding the stock market, Abacus Road. Robert is survived by his children, Elena, Diana, and Lyle Castro, his grandchildren, and his elder brother, Alejandro F. Castro II. Services will be private.
