Dear family Feist,

when we first heard that Bob is no longer with us we were and still are very sad about that. We will never forget the great time we had with you in Alexandria and in Copenhagen a few years later.
The first time Gabi met you two, Bob and Ruth, was when you were visiting me and my family in Altena. I was about 11 years old. Thanks to a fotograph, I remember our common sightseeing of the Burg Altena. After that, Lotte, my Mother and the Grandma of Julian and Tino, and my Brother, Uli, kept in touch with you. Meanwhile, in 1985 my above-mentioned twins were born, who accompanied me to the US where we met Frank and Amelia, as well. We won't forget the excursions we made with you, e. g. the trip to Maryland to your good-hearted friends Betty and George where Tino and Julian enjoyed their pool. Thank you, Ruth, for the tasteful healthy food we could enjoy. Sadly, we couldn't manage another stay in the US but we're so grateful that we could cope with another visit in Copenhagen, at Erik's, which is not that far from Berlin. Regrettably, that was the last time we saw Bob. We would have liked to see you two again in the US or again in Copenhagen.
We will always remember Bob, the awesome time we had with you all and keep Bob forever in our hearts.
We hope that we may see you, Ruth, again.
Love and kisses,
Gabi, Julian and Tino

Dear Bob and Ruth,

I look back from the beginning of my life, since I have known you from day 1. The story tells me my dad was your best man and my mom could not participate at your wedding as she had just had me......growning up I remember your visits to Denmark. Playing with Frank and Dane. One thing I still see clearly is Bobs ear warmers he was wearing one cold winter, I thought they were so hilarious! I also remember, he gave my sister and I a silverdollar each, it feels like a million years ago!
We have always enjoyed your company during your visits to Denmark and your hospitality when we visited you in Virginia, Both with my mother and when Jens and I came.
I am sorry my dad never managed to go. If it wasnt for him we would never have met!
Dear Ruth, We are thinking of you in these hard times and we send our condolences. Hope to see you again in near future.
May Bob rest in Peace!

Much Love Jens and Henriette

Ruth, Dane and Frank,
During his longtime residence in Stoneybrooke, Bob generously donated his time in service to our community. We are grateful for that and for his service to our nation. What a wonderful story you and he have, Ruth. He will be missed, but remembered fondly.
Sincerely, Marie and Dan Ernst

He had a long and eventful life. He served in the South Pacific with my wife's father.
He would come by with his wife occasionally when the Lieutenant was still alive.
