LEE ROBERT JEROME LEE "Jerry" On Tuesday, October 13, 2009. Devoted father of Tennille Lee Royal (Daniel) and Serena Lee. Jerry is also survived by cherished grandchildren, Yahaira Johnson, Brian Roberts Jr. and Danielle Royal; one sister, Carol Lee; loving nieces, Angela and Kimise Lee; other nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews, Ricketa, Nevaeh and Racquel Lee; other great-nieces and nephews; aunt, Helen Despertt; other dear family members and many friends. He will be missed by his beloved dog Shorty. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, October 21, 12 noon until services at 1 p.m. at Stewart Funeral Home, 4001 Benning Rd., NE. Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by JORDAN FUNERAL SERVICE.

Jerry,
You were John's best friend. You were
more like a brother to both of us. We both are going to miss you, but there will be a huge void in John's life. You
have been a part of each of other's lives for over thirty years. You were the only one he would listen to. Jennifer will always remember how you always made sure she had her tickets for the Turkey Bowl.

Mr Lee was a very kind person and a very hard worker. I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Lee during our tenure with DCPS. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Lee family.

Mr. Lee was one of the most endearing members of the Eastern High School staff. He served the District of Columbia Public Schools for more than 35 years. He will be greatly missed by everyone. His kind and gentle spirit and his love and dedication for his beloved Eastern will be his legacy. May God bless you and keep you in his care.
