Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday May 26 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 9240 Damascus Road, Damascus, Maryland 20872.
Robert Bruce Lyons, 72, of Gaithersburg, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.
He is survived by his sister, Margaret Anne; his brothers Craig (Patti) and John (Gail); six nieces and nephews, and 18 great and great-great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents John and Margaret Agnes Lyons.
A greatly loved family man, friend, co-worker, lawyer, and scholar, he will be greatly missed.
Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 25 at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday May 26 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 9240 Damascus Road, Damascus, Maryland 20872. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, Maryland.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made in his name to a charity of your choice.
