Robert Mendelsohn (Age 95)

Robert Allen Mendelsohn, son of Dorothy and Maurice Mendelsohn, passed away on July 17, 2022. He was born on August 14, 1926 in Baltimore, MD.

Dr. Mendelsohn is survived by his wife of 38 years, Laurel Barron Mendelsohn, four children; Anne Turner (David), Sindy Rogers (Don), Craig Mendelsohn (Dan), June Plotkin (Rick), three stepchildren; Jeff Barron, Richard Barron (Carol), and Leslie Lane (Bruce); daughter-in-laws Faye Mendelsohn and Rhonda Brodbeck; his sibling; Gene Behrmann; over 40 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dr. Mendelsohn is predeceased by his first wife of many years, Greta Mendelsohn; his son Mark Mendelsohn; his son-in-law Charlie Plotkin, and his sister, Danielle (Bep) Holzman.

Due to COVID-19, funeral services and Shiva for Dr. Mendelsohn are private. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the ALS Therapy Development Institute, The American Heart Association, or charity of your choice.
