Entered into eternal rest on December 16, 2012. Beloved son of Brenda and Robert Eugene Samuels. Also survived by one sister Angelica Samuels; grandson of Bernice Reid and Rose Reed; eight aunts; four uncles and his four legged companion and friend Whiz. Services Saturday, December 22 at Corinthian Baptist Church, 6705 Good Luck Rd., Lanham, MD; Wake 10 a.m. Funeral 11 a.m. Bishop James Martin, officiating. Interment Washington National Cemetery. Arrangements by LATNEY'S.

Brenda and Robert;
We have prayed that God will give you strength to weather the storm in the loss of your beloved son and our nephew Robbie.
Words will never replace the loss of Robbie, however be proud and thankful for the many accomplishment he achieved during his life time.
The joys that you should feel in his accomplishments should over shadow any sorrows that you may feel in his loss.
Obviously we will miss Robbie during our family reunions and gatherings but Robbie's legacy will always be remembered and cherished.

Rob was the first and really only neighbor in our Camp Springs community to take the time to know my name and my son and consistenly over the past 7 years shared in conversations no less then two times a week be it when a question arouse about owning a new home to seeing each other outside washing cars, taking out trash or while walking Whiz. I pray for the family and friends during this time of loss. My words cannot fully capture my thoughts and feelings right now.

Your son introduced me to good Southern manners when he referred to me always as, "Miss Susan." He made me smile every time he used this formality!
I will always remember Robert for being sweet and sincere, professional, courteous, and so bright and smart and talented. Robert was always ready and willing to help in the office, and he would drop what he was doing whenever he could assist the rest of us to do our own jobs better.
I have to believe that since Robert had such promise here on earth, his Homecoming arrived so soon because there is an even better future promised for him with God. At work we miss him dearly, and always will.
I pray that you find comfort in God's promises and in your own bright and sweet memories of your fine son. Thank-you for sharing him, however briefly, with us.

Hey Robbie,
Words cannot express just how much I miss you, your smile, your corny sense of humor, and how slow you drive - lol! It took so long to get to 3 from 175! I will never accept that you're gone. I just saw you at work Thursday and talked to you Friday and then my heart was broken that you left us. Only God knows why you were needed sooner than later and I have to accept that. Too bad Heaven doesn't have visiting hours. You were such a great person and I have NEVER met anyone like you in my life and know I never will ever again. I will miss going to lunch, you coming to my desk and vice versa, seeing you in the hall on my way to the restroom *insider* lol!, and shopping for snacks at your desk. I will forever remember and cherish your friendship and time we spent at Sky 7 and the Fort. I love you now and forever.
To Robbie's family,
I have and will continue to pray for you. I know there are no words that could ever ease your pain or take your heartache away but I hope that knowing you raised such a refined young man will put a smile in your heart. I only knew Robbie at work (I started calling him Robbie after he told me that's what his family called him) for the past 4 years and seeing the person he was, I know it was way more of a pleasure to be able to be around him 24/7. His shell is here but his spirit is soaring in the beautiful clouds above with our Heavenly Father and the angels above. He loves us and Robbie loves us and I know Robbie will let us know he's alright and he will talk to us in his own way to say hello, hi, laugh, and tell us he loves us.
